We’ve compiled a list of answers to common questions.
- Which facilities are provided?
A list of what all is available,
washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, espresso machine, coffee machine, kettle, hairdryer, blender, hoover, heater, TV, music system, bluetooth box, beach accessories…
On request we provide cot, bath, high chair and toys free of charge!- Voucher Casas del Mar Lanzarote
here is some explanation of our unique “Casas del Mar voucher”
- you can use your voucher for a reservation at Casa Esquina del Mar, Casa Helena del Mar & Casa Azmira del Mar
- to use your voucher you have to book a minimum stay of 7 nights
- you can’t use your voucher for special promotions, last minute offers, and supplementary services e.g. wellness, breakfast, dinner, etc.
- a voucher is never paid out in cash
- each voucher has an expiration date, your stay has to be before the expiration date.
- Do I have to pay a deposit?
There is a deposit, 150€, to be paid cash on arrival.
Before your departure, we will check if there are no broken items, damage, or rubbish.
If everything is in order, the deposit will be refunded in cash.- Do I need a rental car?
A car is a must to enjoy your stay because Lanzarote has a lot of hidden and marvellous spots to visit.
Our houses are all situated in a quiet area away from the mass tourism.
We always work together with the same company and can offer you a rental car at a very interesting price,
fully insured and no hidden costs. The cars are available at the airport by arrival.
We always come to the airport to welcome you, pick up your rental car and help with the paperwork.- How far is the airport from my vacation rental?
Only 20 km away from the airport a 25 min drive.
- How do I get the keys?
We always come to the airport to welcome you, pick up your rental car and help with the paperwork.
Together we go to your resort, so you don’t have to worry how to get there, a perfect start of your holiday.- Do I have to bring bed laundry and towels?
Bed laundry, kitchen, bath and beach towels are provided free of charge.
Every 7 days we provide fresh towels.
A washing machine is available at any resort if you like to wash in between.
Fresh towels within 7 days can be provided for a small fee.- How late is my resort available and when do I have to leave?
Your resort is always ready for you the day of arrival ultimately at 2 pm and has to be free the day of departure at 9.30 am.
If you have an afternoon- or evening flight we can store your luggage for you.We always come to the airport, even if you hire a rental car, to welcome you and guide you to your accommodation,
therefore it’s important to send us your flight number, the hour of arrival and your mobile phone number.Especially for our guests we can arrange a rental car.
We always work together with the same car rental company and can offer you a car at a very interesting price.
All cars are delivered to the airport, 100% fully insured, without kilometre restriction and no bill after for refuelling.
Also a second driver is included in the price.- I would like to stay longer then 7 nights… is this possible?
No problem at all, if you want to enjoy our little piece of paradise longer then 7 nights. Ask for our special prices for a 10 day holiday!
Also depending on available flights you can stay 1, 2, 3, … nights more.
The minimum stay is 5 nights, maximum 42 nights at the same location.- Does the arrival day has to be on Saterday?
Not at all, the arrival day is free to determine.
- We prefer separate sleeping rooms… is this possible?
Sleeping rooms are in accordance with the number of guests, 2 persons 1 sleeping room with 1 bathroom,
3 to 4 persons 2 sleeping rooms, 4 to 6 persons 3 sleeping rooms.If for any reason you want an additional room no problem at all.
For your own convenience please let us know in advance,
an extra fee, 25€, will be charged for the bed laundry and supplementary cleaning.- What are the payment conditions?
All bookings will be confirmed by e-mail.
Payments can be done by bank transfer or Paypal, 50% has to be paid within 10 days after receiving the confirmation e-mail
and the balance also 50% 1 month before the arrival date.Your booking is secured after paying 50% of the deposit by bank transfer at the date mentioned in the confirmation letter.
You receive an e-mail to confirm your payment.If the final payment isn’t done 1 month before arrival we have the right to cancel your booking.
- What is the cancellation policy?
If for any personal reason you have to cancel your reservation we apply the following rules:
- More than 6 months before the arrival date the deposit will be paid back to your bank account
an administration fee of 45€ will be reduced - Between 6 months and 2 months before arrival, the deposit will not be paid back
but the paid money will be reduced, without any costs, if you make a new reservation for a stay within 12 months. - Less than 2 months and before 1 month before arrival the deposit will not be paid back
but the paid money will be reduced, without any costs, if you make a new reservation for a stay within 9 months.
- When you’re not able to come within 9 or 12 months like previewed you have always the possibility to use the paid amount and come to enjoy your little piece of paradise after that period.
A supplementary fee, between 15% and 30% on the total rental price, will be in supplement depending on the season.
The only obligation is that the reservation is made before 9 or 12 months. - Less than 1 month before arrival the deposit will not be paid back and 25% off the payment will be reduced if you make a new reservation for a stay within 9 months.
- A cancelation request has to be sent by email to info@casasdelmarlanzarote.com and will be confirmed by email.
The start date of the allowed 9 or 12 months is the date of your cancellation confirmation. - The above cancellation conditions apply in personal circumstances if the cancellation is due to a third party,
such as an airline, government, or decisions by third parties,
Casa del Mar Lanzarote has the right to adjust or refuse the cancellation conditions. - A reservation can only be canceled once without costs if for any reason, even force major,
if you have to cancel a second time a supplementary cost of 25% of the total rental price will be charged for a new reservation
within 9 or a maximum of 12 months. There’s never a refund of the paid amount. - If we allow using our cancellation conditions, an advance of 50% of the outstanding balance must be paid
for a new reservation within the requested period, after payment, the dates are definitively fixed. - The payment of the requested deposit in our confirmation letter is the acceptance of our sales conditions.
- More than 6 months before the arrival date the deposit will be paid back to your bank account
- Is WiFi connection available?
At all our locations is fast free WiFi available. (fiber optic connection)
- What is the nearest touristic centre?
Costa Teguise is the nearest touristic centre with shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, …
and the famous Costa Teguise Golf is only 15 min drive away.- Where is the nearest supermarket and restaurant?
There’s a grocery shop only 5 min away and a very nice Italian restaurant.
In Costa Teguise you can find bigger supermarkets (Hiperdino & Eurospar) and different restaurants.- Can I go for a swim close to my resort?
All houses are situated very close to the ocean and accessible for a swim.
In the village, Los Cocoteros is also a natural filling swimming pool with ocean water without the influence of the waves.- Where can I rent a bike, scooter or motorbike?
In Costa Teguise are several places where you can rent bikes, scooters and even motorbikes.
Some of these companies have a delivery and pick up service.
